What is Spinal Disc Decompression?
Spinal Disc Decompression is a specialized form of therapy, but can also be considered a form of traction, or traction applied perfectly. By unloading compressed spinal segments the treatment helps to reduce pressure on the affected disc by creating a decrease in pressure or vacuum with-in the disc to help it heal.

What can this vacuum effect do?
The decrease in pressure accomplishes two things. From a mechanical standpoint, disc material that has protruded or herniated outside the normal confines of the disc can be pulled back within the disc by the vacuum created.
